Mong Shiu Hung() is native of Chong Ng

District), Kwong Si.

Graduate in Military

Defore 1922 he was

Academy, Poa-ting in Shih-li Province.

Company Commander under Ma Hiu Kwan (4), one of the

Generals under Luk Wing Ting (), the then Military

Governor of Krong Si. He betrayed Luk Wing Ting and surrendered to Chan Kving Hing (1) on the Cantonese

expedition against the Province, and when Sun Man was on his

campaign against Hu-nan, he gradually came into power. Later he united with Li Chung Yan (1) and conquered General Lan Chun Ting (*) and General Shan Hung Ying (i) who were then very powerful. Since then he and

Li Chung Yan have been the supreme rulers of Kwong Si. In

1925 they joined the Nationalist Government at Canton, and

when Li Chung Yan was sent on the Northern Expedition, he

was left to be responsible for the Kwong Si Govern..ent.

Long Ki Cheung ( N ). Native of Kong Tung (lui

Yuen District?). Before 1923 he was a junior military

officer under Sham Hung Ying. He was taken prisoner by General Mgai Pong Ping (F) on the Cantonese Campaigne against Kwong Si, but was later released. About 1925 or 1926 he became a junior Military Officer under Cheung Fat Fui () who was then General of the 12th Division

under Li Tsai Sham. In 1926 he followed Cheung Fat Fui on

the Northern Expedition, and by gradual promotion he became a Divisional General. About 2 months before the return of

Cheung Fat Fui's Army (the 2nd Route Army) to Canton (October 1927) he was appointed Acting Director of it, when

Cheung Fat Fui was absent from Kiang-si. In November this

year he became General of the 4th Army .
